HabitRPG

HabitRPG is a habit-building program which treats your life like a Role Playing Game. Level up as you succeed, lose HP as you fail, earn money to buy weapons and armor, compete with your friends.

https://habitrpg.com (the website) has been around for about one year, and has additional features such as guilds, parties, pets, random drops, tags, difficulty settings, etc. We're going to be pulling in features bit-by-bit into the mobile app - but we wanted to get this initial release out there so people can start using it, and hopefully contributing (open source at https://github.com/habitrpg/habitrpg-mobile). If you experience bugs, please jump into https://github.com/habitrpg/habitrpg-mobile/issues. Android 2.3.x users - we'll enable for devices once we can fix the CSS / Angular issues found at http://goo.gl/p9x2Pz

This is cool and I sometimes use it. Only problem is I keep going back to task managers with a WIDGET for my homescreen. I'd love either a scrolling widget with Habits, Dailies and Task's all on one (Basically the main app interface minus rewards) or the ability to make seperate ones for each section. Also needed on the widget is a way to add tasks.

Really enjoy using this task management app. I set my tasks and habits to be fitness oriented, and I've actually lost a bit of weight. Much better with friends as well

Can't even access half the things accessible on the website, not to mention how much more clunky the app is than the website. But as far the actual concept of habitrpg/habitica, its absolutely great, really would recommend the website and signing up. But the app just let's it down...

Anti-Christian website and admin. Stay away if you value equality, fairness and reason. Those that don't hold liberal viewpoints can and will be banned from the site. Not a safe place for all.

I like it and use it, but there just isn't enough content to make it feel like anything close to a game. There's no actual gameplay here. No challenges, no achievements, and unless you pay real money and recruit friends, there are no quests or battles. There so SOME value to this app however. Despite the complete lack of gameplay, it is useful for keeping track of to-do lists and earning rewards for yourself. Think of it as a chore chart for adults to enforce on themselves.

Wore me out just reading the reviews and how to play the game. I know it's hard work buildng these apps so kudos for that. I'll try again after I get some much needed sleep.
